When Instagram first launched in 2010, it was a channel that people used to share their lives with friends and family. Fast-forward six years and Instagram is now one of the most popular social media channels for businesses. With more than 700 million active monthly users, Instagram has become a great way for businesses to promote themselves and engage their community. While a theme is not required for Instagram posts, they should be relevant to your business and be engaging enough so your audience will want to interact with them. In this blog post we’ll discuss some tips on using Instagram as a marketing tool!

How to Use Instagram as a Marketing Tool:

Instagram is all about visuals so be sure you’re posting high quality images and videos of your product. Try using Instagram’s built in tools such as the new ‘expand’ feature which allows you to zoom into an image, giving it more depth.

Show off what makes your products or service different from others on the market by showcasing unique aspects or features that make them stand out! This will help engage your audience even further because they’ll feel like they know the business better after becoming more familiar with the brand and content.

Instagram Stories are great for this too! They disappear within 24 hours but allow users who are online during the duration of the story to see what you have posted (great for sales, quick announcements, etc.)

Tracking Instagram engagement is very easy. Instagram Analytics was introduced in November 2016 and allows you to measure the success of your Instagram posts, including likes, comments and follower growth! This can be done by simply clicking on the “Insights” tab.

These are just some tips for how businesses should engage their community using Instagram as a marketing tool! Instagram can also be used as an effective tool for generating leads if the content you’re posting encourages people to engage with your company or purchase products/services from you directly!
